The Mission
Lone Willow Baptist Church is a Reformed Baptist church in Cleburne that exists to make disciples and plant churches by proclaiming and displaying the grace of God in Jesus Christ to all whom we encounter in our church, our community and throughout the world. We want people to grow in their knowledge of and affection for the only true and living God.
We aim therefore, by the power and help of the Holy Spirit…
TO BE a dynamic spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community and throughout the world.
TO BE a worshiping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of Gods presence, recognizing Him as the only True God and responding in obedience to His leadership.
TO EXPERIENCE an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and with fellow believers through the sharing of life together in the freedom of the Gospel and the power of the Spirit.
TO HELP people experience a growing knowledge of God and of his Scriptures by which we are ‘trained in righteousness, that each of us in Christ may be complete, equipped for every good work.’
TO BE a church which ministers unselfishly to persons in the community and the world in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Spirit to the glory of the Father.
TO BE a church whose purpose is to be Christlike in our daily living by emphasizing total commitment of life, personality and possession to the Christ- that every decision and detail would be informed by and conformed to the wisdom of Scripture and leading of the Spirit.
